“I was in a long relationship with my mother’s cousin, who is just two years older than me. In front of family and friends, we acted completely normal, but in private, we were inseparable. It started with meeting at hotels, then going on short trips together. Eventually, we moved to another city and lived together because we knew our families and society would never accept what we had.”
“Those three years were the most intense and fulfilling of my life. The sex, the happiness, the feeling of being truly alive with someone. I have never experienced that kind of passion and love in anything else.
In the end, we had to part ways, and now we are married to different people. We still see each other at family gatherings and behave as if nothing ever happened. We chat sometimes, keep it light, and act like old friends. But deep down, I have never been able to forget what it felt like just having her by my side. She has told me she feels the same. Still, we have both tried to remain loyal to our current partners and have not crossed the line since the day one of us got married.”
