“I’m a Republican. I voted for Trump. I don’t regret my vote because he is doing a lot of the things he promised, but he is going way overboard. I don’t think we should buy Greenland. I think the renaming of the Gulf of Mexico was stupid and unneeded, and I definitely don’t enjoy him calling himself king. But he is also bringing a solid government reform that is saving taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars so far, and it’s been a month. I definitely think the good outweighs the bad, but it doesn’t mean I like him personally. I just like most of his politics.”
“No, he is not saving you money.
If Trump and his administration were sitting down and examining government departments and programs, I would give him some credit.
Such an effort would take months, at least more.
He is slashing and burning things he doesn’t like.”
“I mean, look at some of the proof they are providing, though. He is only slashing what has been deemed unnecessary so far, and it’s been a lot. $24 billion, to be exact. I don’t agree with all of the cuts so far, but most of them I do agree with, and I’d take most over none at all.”
