26 Millennial Experiences That Are Already Obsolete In 2025

26 Millennial Experiences Now Extinct In 2025

1.

Memorizing everyone’s phone numbers.

2.

Having to call your friends without knowing who would pick up the phone, and being forced to make small talk with their parents.

3.

And answering the phone without ever knowing who was calling.

4.

Your annoying sibling listening in on your private phone call from an extension in another room.

5.

Going to a friend’s house specifically to go on the computer.

6.

Playing one of, like, four games on that computer.

7.

Having to make sure everyone in your family wasn’t using the phone before you could log on to the internet.

8.

Someone picking up the phone while you were online and accidentally disconnecting your internet.

9.

Turning the internet off and leaving it to rest in its special room on the computer, and not going back to it until the next day (or longer).

10.

Paying for ringtones when you finally got a cell phone.

11.

Typing out each individual letter by pressing numbers on the keypad a certain number of times when texting.

12.

Paying for every single message and phone call you made on your cell phone.

13.

Calling collect and saying your message really fast when you were supposed to say your name.

15.

Printing out directions before you left the house.

16.

Having a printer at home, and printing everything in black and white so you didn’t “waste” the color ink (even though apparently that still needed color).

17.

Blowing on a game cartridge when it was glitchy.

18.

Having to learn lyrics by buying a music magazine or just listening to songs over and over again and writing them out yourself.

19.

Spending 12 hours illegally downloading one song and winding up with six viruses on your family computer.

21.

Having to choose, like, 19 songs to load onto your Mp3 player before you went out, and feeling like you were living in the future.

22.

Using a floppy disc, or a CD, or a USB, or anything physical to save something.

23.

Looking up movie times in the newspaper, or worse, having to call the theater.

24.

Going to the video store to browse and rent a movie.

25.

Basing your whole routine around the TV schedule.

27.
