25 Things That Grocery Shoppers Say Have Suddenly Gone Up In Price

8.

“In just the past two or three months, I’ve noticed multiple things have gone up in price. Last week, I noticed that carrots, traditionally about $1.00/lb in my stores, are now $1.35/lb. I also tend to buy those 10lb bags of chicken leg quarters. Now, in the past few months, they’ve gone up from $5.50ish to $7.80.”

“It’s everywhere too. I tend to get cheaper frozen stuff and canned things from Walmart, but fresh produce and meats from a discount grocery and even that discount grocery store has gone up quite a bit.

Even dried beans are skyrocketing.

I had been bulk cooking cheaper casserole and chili-like recipes, but sometimes that still isn’t enough. I’ve been adding in more and more vegetarian options to save money.”
