“I had gestational diabetes that stuck after the birth of my son. Then, I was hospitalized three times with gallbladder issues, and the final time, gallstones were trying to get through my liver and pancreas. Had to change my whole diet and lifestyle! (Didn’t know that you can get gallbladder issues because you’ve had a kid!) This all happened within the first six months after birth!”
“Accept that you will NEVER have a good night’s sleep for at least the first six years of your little one’s life (he’s 9 now!). And that you’ll be cooking different meals for yourself, your husband, and your child because of said diet issues. How expensive everything is when you put ‘baby’ in front of an item, like cotton buds! Oh, normally they are 40p, but if you put the word ‘baby’ cotton buds, they will be £1.50! But I would do it all over again. He’s my rainbow baby and is the sweetest, kindest young boy whom I love dearly.”
