“People’s perception of strangers.”
“I don’t know, maybe this is me but I like to take walks. This year and last year I started using this national trail more by my home (it’s full of people most days ) due to my attempt to lose weight.
Pre-pandemic you could walk past somebody and you usually at least get a smile. Post pandemic and moving forward me and other friends of mine who used the same trail noticed shift in others. Now I keep to myself, and I very seldom engage with anyone. It seems people are more reserved when it comes to any interaction. I’ve also noticed this in state parks and national parks. Theres an undertone that you can just pick up on. It’s almost as if every person is judging everyone they come across.”
