According to 2023 research shared by CNBC, employees are the unhappiest they’ve been in years because of unreasonable workloads, inconsistent pay, and unfair treatment at work.
It’s an unfortunately relatable experience, and one likely shared by the poor souls who live under these signs at work:
1.
This job displayed a sign saying, “Sadly, due to government handouts, no one wants to work anymore, therefore, we are short staffed during our busiest time of year.”
2.
This job has a sign that says being unwilling to perform tasks outside of your role oozes “arrogance and laziness.”
3.
This job has a sign that plainly discriminates against liberals.
4.
This job has a sign reminding people that “the privilege to work is a gift.”
5.
Someone spotted this sign outside of their company’s HR office.
6.
This sign encourages applications from “PEOPLE THAT ACTUALLY WANT TO WORK!”
7.
Similarly, this job displayed a sign declaring, “LAZY PEOPLE HURT THEIR EMPLOYER.”
8.
An employee shared this sign along with the caption, “Slob of a manager put up this sign, yet leaves dirty dishes in the sink for weeks at a time.”
9.
Administrative staff gifted this sign to a new teacher… and I don’t think it’s an appropriate welcome:
10.
This sign is a friendly reminder that the manager does not want to perform one of their main duties.
11.
This sign lets everyone know that being on time somehow equates to being late.
12.
The last bullet point on this sign is… interesting…
13.
We’re not sure what to make of this one.
14.
And finally, this sign very passive aggressively encourages in-person meetings.
What a joy working in America!
