“It was a few days after I got home after giving birth to my son. He was born just over a month premature, so we were in the hospital for a week and he was still so small.”

“Our Sky (UK cable basically) wasn’t working and so we had to someone come fix it. The guy that came was TALL, like MASSIVE! He must’ve seen me look at him a bit scared as I was home alone with my newborn, and must’ve felt my unease as he was super jolly and just radiated warmth and he said ‘Yes, I get ‘blimey he’s a giant!’ All the time!’

We go into the living room and he sees my son in his bassinet and says ‘I’ll be quick as I see you have your hands full! He’s beautiful.’

I don’t know why, but I told him that we had a bit of a scare as he’s so small because he was born prematurely and we only got home a couple of days ago. He laughed and said, ‘I was born prematurely myself, and I’m nearly 7 foot now! Mark my words he’s gonna be tall too!’

Fast forward to today and my ‘tiny’ son is now nearly 13 years old and is nearly 6 foot already and towers over 5”4 me.

I will never forget that guy.”
