I do not want kids, but if I had one, especially a daughter, I’d make sure she knows that people may present themselves as someone they aren’t when they first meet you and misrepresent their true intentions. The answer to this, in my opinion, is always to wait and see their actions and judge by that. I learned this the hard way in college.
