Fallout season two just came to a dramatic close, and there’s already lots of speculation about what’s to come.
With the third season already greenlit and writing well underway, we sat down with creator and showrunner Geneva Robertson-Dworet and executive producer Jonathan Nolan to see what’s in store for the next instalment, and chat about adapting an already hit game series.
Season two ends with the ghoul heading off towards Colorado, which we can assume serves as one of the locations for season three, so what drew you to Colorado?
With the Legion incoming, the NCR turning up, it doesn’t seem like we’re done with New Vegas; will this setting still feature in the next season?
One particular storyline that have fans debating, is what is happening to Thaddeus, with many pointing out that he’s probably not a ghoul, and he suggesting he may be turning into something else, such as a centaur?
How do you balance creating a show that will be enjoyable and accessible to both existing fans of the game franchise and viewers who haven’t played the games?
Is there added pressure adapting something with such a big preexisting fanbase?
