Tom Brady’s Rep Addressed Reports That He Said Sofía Vergara Is “Too Old” For Him

For context, on July 1, Sofía posted a sweet picture on Instagram showing her and Tom hanging out on Ritz-Carlton’s new megayacht, Luminara, off the coast of Europe recently. A few days later, an anonymous source suggested to Page Six that the two were having a bit of a “summer romance,” alleging that Tom “asked to switch seats to sit next to her at dinner.”

Tom divorced from Gisele Bündchen in late 2022, while Sofía parted ways with Joe Manganiello in 2023, so the idea of a fling between the pair isn’t out of the question (and would actually be kind of fun, IMO). However, things got a little weird this week when a bizarre report from the Daily Mail alleged that Tom, 47, feels that Sofía, 53, is too old for him.

Obviously, the source quotes are pretty weird and unflattering. And, so it’ll come as no surprise to hear that Tom’s representative wasted no time shutting the whole thing down.

In a statement provided to People on July 10, Tom’s rep said he “would never” say that he thinks Sofía is “too old” for him, describing the quotes as “pure fiction.”

“Tom never said, nor would he ever say, anything like this,” his rep continued.
