This New K-Beauty “AI Filter” Cushion Compact Had Me Gasping At The Results

I was seriously floored.

I put my hands up now regarding my snarky initial thoughts on what “AI-powered” meant. I get it now.

I’m also really, really glad I went with the lighter shade. I’m realizing how much I hate that I have the 30N compact sitting around past its return date. If I had to recommend the Red or AI Filter compact — GO FOR THE AI ONE, and the lighter shade!

Both the Red and AI Filter compact fall between medium and full coverage. It takes about 15–30 minutes for the product to settle, then you can really make out the effects. For the Red, I found the finish to be more matte-like than the AI one. If you like fuller coverage and want something that lasts, Red is your friend. The AI one also has a semi-matte-like finish, but more satiny, silky, and sits lighter.

Overall, this AI Filter compact really surprised me! I would recommend giving it a try if you’re on the hunt for a new foundation that offers full coverage, hydration, and a silky, smooth finish. I tested both compacts in their mini sizes since I don’t wear foundation every day, so that size was perfect for me to use on the occasion. I’ll be reaching more for the AI one now, though.
