@biz_dave, the creator of the video, laid out his entire process for training the crows to attack red hats in a “Crow Training” thread, a surprisingly meticulous process which he said took a total of about seven months.

“Getting the crows to come regularly to the feeding place took the longest. That was about a 4 month endeavor,” he wrote. “Once they were coming regularly, it was only about 3 months to get them to the hat removal stage.”
