This Holiday Host Is Charging Their Family To Attend Dinner, And People Have Many THOUGHTS

However, some believed that the payment plan should’ve been a family discussion, but asking everyone to chip in was a reasonable request on the sister’s part.

“Would it have been better to have a family discussion and agree on a number ahead of time? Sure. But that doesn’t mean the number is unreasonable. A meal for 20–25 people is expensive, and asking everybody to chip in is reasonable. The option to bring enough mashed potatoes for everybody was offered. Why is that objectionable? Mashed potatoes for 25 will still be WAY cheaper than $100, so it’s not a hardship,” user HomelyHobbit said.
