You know…the kind of wild ex stories that make you worry people will think you’re lying or exaggerating because there’s just absolutely no way that could actually happen IRL. The ex moments that are so deeply unhinged and borderline problematic that you find yourself looking around for hidden cameras, waiting for someone to yell “Cut!” because the only explanation that could possibly make sense is that you’re being punked. Those kinda stories.
I’m not talking about the simple stuff like “they cheated on me,” “they ghosted me,” or “they broke up with me over text.” As awful as those are (and honestly, it’s sad and stupid that we live in a world where that’s totally normalized), I’m looking for the next level. The chaotic, complicated, bizarre stories that made you look at your ex and think, “Blink twice. Are you okay? Because WTF?”
