“I never got the same intense feeling of attraction I did for my first girlfriend in high school. It might have been puppy love, but we had a borderline obsession with each other. Everyone else I’ve dated just felt…flat. Then, a few years ago, I met a girl that I thought we could have the same dynamic. We hit it off instantly and couldn’t stop talking to each other, and were constantly talking about how much we missed each other when we weren’t together.”
“However, it turned out she was actually engaged the whole time and cheating on her fiancé with me. I have never wanted to be a home wrecker, and it left me with a lot of guilt. I still don’t know if her fiancé ever found out. That experience just left too much negative energy in me to continue the dating life.”
