“As a Canadian, I am genuinely disgusted that not only millions voted for Trump, but that enough voted for him to win. I boycott as many US-made items as possible. I talked my boss out of sending my team to a conference in Florida (which would have been all expenses paid by my company). My 10-year-old has had nightmares about the US trying to invade and make Canada the 51st state. This was not a fear we projected on them.”
“At this rate, your country would watch Trump murder a basket full of puppies on live TV, and he wouldn’t face any consequences. It would not diminish his base, and everyone would be shocked but not surprised. I am so proud to be Canadian. It would take hundreds of millions of dollars for me to move down there, and I still wouldn’t renounce my Canadian citizenship. Canada has its issues, but I can sleep at night. I don’t know how Americans can.”
