“I will have had both knees replaced. I’m 50 years old and have two forms of arthritis that are attacking both knees.”

“I had the first one replaced on June 30 (after two appeals with g-damned insurance), and am hoping to get the next one done on October 6. Running is my passion and joy, and I so badly want to get back to it once I rehab the new knees. More and more people go back to running after knee replacement, and I’m going to be one of them. The right knee is healing very well, and I hope the left goes as well or better.”
