People Are Sharing The “Harmless” Things That Actually Make Society Worse

“As someone who has abused marijuana before, it absolutely is. A lot of people seem to view addiction solely in terms of physical dependency, without acknowledging that emotional dependencies can be just as real. Plenty of things can be emotionally addicting, like food, your phone, video games, etc, but some people don’t take them as seriously because they aren’t as bad as hard drugs, and ‘it’s not like you’ll go through withdrawal if you stop.’

Those were some of the same excuses I made when I used weed to escape depression. In reality, I was just depressed and addicted to weed. Be careful, y’all. There’s a responsible way to use weed and a slippery slope to fall down if you don’t.”
