“My apartment complex has a few fees tacked on to rent every month that kind of piss me off. The first is front door garbage pickup. If you don’t feel like walking your ass over to the dumpster, some company comes by and takes your trash from the front door of your apartment. The issue is it’s an offered service, but if you don’t use it, you’re still paying for it. And our community online message board is filled with people complaining that their trash hasn’t been picked up, or there is trash all over the common areas because the service people let a bag break and never cleaned it up.”
