People will come with their own ideas for movies, such as the sequel trilogy. One of two things can happen:

It’s similar enough to their ideas that they complain it’s ‘too predictable.’

Or it’s different, so they complain that it’s not what they expected from the series.

As a disclaimer, I was disappointed in the sequel trilogy simply because the pacing seemed off and disjointed from movie to movie, but I still enjoyed the experience.”
