People Are Losing It Over Zohran Mamdani’s Jacket And They’re Kinda Right

In the past 29 days, he announced a plan with the Governor for universal childcare.

He issued an executive order banning junk fees for things like subscription services, hotels, and gyms.

And, more importantly (and personally), he fixed an annoying-ass bump on a bike path.

Sooo, lately, the Mayor has also been wearing some pretty cool jackets.

This one in particular is going viral:

According to GQ, it’s a custom Carhartt jacket “custom-embellished” by a Brooklyn-based company called Arena Embroidery.

And here’s a closer look at the collar.

GQ says that “No problem too big. No task too small” motto is from his victory speech.

The reaction has been HOT.

One person complained, “Zohran, you have to stop. Your policies are too tough. Your swag too different. Your wife is too bad. They’ll kill you, Zohran Mamdani.”

Another person joked, “We’ve been settling for boomers for way too long that we forgot mayors were supposed to be cool.”

And the overwhelming majority people are like, “Drop this as a collection and we can fund universal childcare.”

As this person said, “Need the nyc mayor’s office to start doing monthly drops.”
