Now, I wanted to see how toppings could create a real dessert out of this protein-packed bowl. I decided to create my own super quick two-ingredient magic shell for topping. Here’s how to make it:
Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet, dark, or milk — your choice)
• 2 tablespoons coconut oil (refined or unrefined)
Method:
1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 20-second bursts, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth (usually about 40–60 seconds total).
2. Let cool slightly so it’s not piping hot, about 2 minutes.
3. Drizzle over your cold yogurt bowl — it will harden within seconds!
Hot tip: While the magic shell is still setting, quickly sprinkle chopped nuts, fruit, or any other toppings you want to “lock in.” I chose chopped pecans and strawberries, then I popped mine in the freezer for 10 minutes to really solidify things and create an ice cream feel.
