Back in February, Penn Badgley’s wife, singer Domino Kirke, announced on Instagram that they are expecting twins, writing: “Babies #3 and #4 coming this Summer! Talk about a PLOT TWIST! Spontaneous twins are beyond magical. We are stunned. We are in awe. Can’t think of anyone else I’d rather be on this ride with @pennbadgley 👶♥️👶🎢”
And Penn has now revealed that he and Domino are set to welcome two more boys into the world as he publicly shared the sex of their twins. Speaking to Access Hollywood at the premiere for his Netflix series You, Joe said: “They’re identical boys, so now we have four boys.”
He then reflected on the weight of being a parent to boys, saying: “You know, I do mean this sincerely. It sounds a bit tacky, but the world needs more good men, so, you know, pressure’s on us to raise them well.”
And these words have struck a chord with fans, who praised Penn for his awareness, with many other parents of boys expressing a similar sentiment as they discussed the star’s quotes on a Reddit forum.
Penn previously reflected on the shock of expecting twins during an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast. When host Alex Cooper asked if they were “ready,” the star joked: “Who could be? As ready as we could be!”
