Being the youngest of four daughters, I learned to cook at a fairly young age. While my friends were playing with LEGO, I was making Kraft Dinner after school on a stool. It is so second nature to me that I sometimes forget not everyone grew up cooking — something I know I take for granted. Put me in a kitchen, making anything, and I’m a happy girl. I’m also lucky to be married to a man who made a kitchen deal with me: I cook every night, and he cleans and does the dishes. Honestly, it’s the perfect trade-off. Do I still call a spatula “a flipper”? 100%! But I still like to think I know my way around a kitchen.
So, if you are a seasoned cook or only use a microwave to make a meal, either way…let’s put your kitchen smarts to the test. Ready? Let’s go…
I’m the cook in the house. I love a good utensil. If you do too, you should check out this post. There are so many utensils I didn’t even know existed. I’m definitely adding them to my wishlist.
