The Electric State follows Millie as Michelle, a young woman who partners with an ex-soldier, Keats (played by Chris), and a robot (voiced by Alan Tudyk) to find her long-lost brother. The film, which is based on Simon Stålenhag’s 2018 illustrated novel, is set in a post-apocalyptic world where robots and humans are at tense odds.
