In March, the singer and rapper revealed that Megan had given birth to a baby girl. However, their relationship has proven tenuous over the past five years, with Megan herself confirming last year that they had called off their engagement. “I think that what I’ve learned from being in this relationship is that it’s not for public consumption,” she said at the time on Call Her Daddy. “What I can say is [he] is what I refer to as being my ‘twin soul,’ and there will always be a tether to him, no matter what.”
Earlier today on her Instagram story, Megan shared a video that was shared by a fan account, seemingly taken from a promotional shoot for her guest appearance in the comedy series Overcompensating. Underneath, she wrote, “38 years old six weeks pregnant (unplanned but a happy surprise).”
“Please stop listening to the patriarchy. Women are eternal light beings,” she continued. “We do not have an expiration date. Don’t let them rob you of your power.”
Last month, a source close to Megan told People that she was thrilled to have her third child. “It feels magical to her that she now has a baby girl too,” the source said. “She’s doing great and over the moon about her baby girl.”
“The last few months alone have been difficult for her,” the source said, adding of MGK, “At this point, she plans on co-parenting with Colson, but that’s it. She won’t be getting back together with him.”
As of right now, all of Megan’s IG posts — including her pregnancy announcement — have been wiped.
