We decided to take a deep dive into the MAGA world via the r/LeopardsAteMyFace subreddit to see what Trump voters are saying about the cost of healthcare under Donald Trump and the Republican Party:

“SO MR. TRUMP’S BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL IS BIG BULL!!! Tell me why you just jacked up my health insurance premium?!? Literally went from $75.00 a month to $165.00 FOR 2 of us only!!!”

“My meds are going up, doctor going up, my Medicare payments going up…I say fire everyone from the presidential, Senate, Congress put in poor people, people who actually do manual labor you will see a big change.”
“I voted for Trump 3 times, but he’s doing things that don’t make sense.”
“I’ve been waiting, giving Trump the benefit of the doubt almost a year coming up, he’s not the Trump we saw in office before…”
“I’m still for Trump so hopefully something will start changing…”

“Thanks to you and yr administration my insurance premiums in 2026 will be 5 (FIVE !!!) times what it was in 2025.”

“I love Trump but this is happening now… Everyone is paying huge amounts in their healthcare.”

In the comments, people expressed little sympathy, with one person saying, “These people didn’t appreciate who got them that more affordable healthcare. Instead, they voted for the guy who always vowed to dismantle it. This is what ending Obamacare looks like.”
“I knew this was coming. I come from a Trump family, all too far gone from day one. They all made their choice that he’s the guy and it simply can’t be undone,” this person said.
And finally, this person summed it up: “It’s easy, when you’ve managed to convince yourself the person you are voting for has assured you that only Other people will be hurt and that you will be fine.”
