The 4 Nations Face-Off is a new hockey tournament featuring teams from Canada, the United States, Finland, and Sweden. It replaced this year’s NHL annual All-Star Game.
The championship game was between Canada and the US on Thursday in Boston, and tensions were high!
Donald Trump called Team USA before the game, shadily saying, “I’ll be calling our GREAT American Hockey Team this morning to spur them on towards victory tonight against Canada, which with FAR LOWER TAXES AND MUCH STRONGER SECURITY, will someday, maybe soon, become our cherished, and very important, Fifty First State.”
Well, unfortunately for him, USA lost.
Canada defeated the United States 3-2, and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made a shady statement directed at Donald Trump.
Some Americans are loving it too.
“Claws out, eh?” this person said.
“So…this is Canadian speak for ‘puck you,'” another person said.
And this person joked, “Donald will handle this well.”
Handle it well… let’s see about that.
