Justin Bieber Posted A Very Candid Statement About His “Anger Issues,” And Oh My God

Justin Bieber Talks About “Anger Issues” In New Post

If you’ve been on the internet lately, chances are you’ve heard about all the discourse surrounding Justin Bieber. Well, we’ve got some big updates today, so buckle up.

Basically, over the past couple months, Justin’s behaviour on social media has been alarming a lot of people — he’s been posting a ton of cryptic photos and Instagram stories, including one where he said he’s “drowning.” His reps have denied fans’ theories that Justin is in “financial distress” or has been using drugs. Plus, a video of him arguing with the paparazzi went viral over the weekend.

Well, on the morning of June 16, Justin posted a full statement via Instagram Reels, where he addresses all the speculation about his wellbeing. He starts off with: “People keep telling me to heal. Don’t you think if I could have fixed myself I would have already?”

“I know I’m broken. I know I have anger issues,” he wrote. “I tried to do the work my whole life to be like the people who told me I needed to be fixed like them. And it just keeps making me more tired and more angry. The harder I try to grow the more focussed on myself I am.”

Justin ended off the post with: “Jesus is the only person who keeps me wanting to make my life about others. Because honestly I’m exhausted of thinking about myself lately aren’t you?” He captioned the post with a middle finger emoji.

The post has gotten tons of attention from fans, with over 200K likes and over 11K comments in the first three hours — some sending love to Justin, and lots urging him to take a break from social media.

And that’s not all. Some of Justin’s recent Instagram posts and stories have seemingly addressed some kind of conflict with a friend, which Justin has also just addressed.

On June 15, a day before posting his statement, Justin posted text screenshots, which we can assume are between him and this person he’s been calling out lately. The first screenshot shows these messages delivered: “I will never suppress my emotions for someone. Conflict is a part of relationship. If you don’t like my anger you don’t like me,” “My anger is a response to pain I have been thru,” and “Asking a traumatized person to not be traumatized is simply mean.”

On the next slide, the other person responds with: “I’m not used to someone lashing out at me. It’s not that I don’t see and feel your anger.” Then, we see the first person (who we can assume is Justin) respond with these messages: “Ouch,” “This friendship is officially over. I will never accept a man calling my anger lashing out,” “I enjoyed our short lived relationship,” and “I wasn’t kidding when I told u I didn’t need u as a friend. I have good friends. Who will respect those boundaries.”

And in the last slide of the series of screenshots, we see more messages delivered: “I thought u were a pussy. Which is why I always kept my distance but I was willing to give you the benifit of the doubt [sic]. This confirms u were the pussy I always thought u were,” “🖕,” and “Please leave me alone now.” The other person responds with “I’m a pussy?” followed by the last message as delivered: “Blocking u now.”
