I’m An Olympian. Here’s The Surprisingly Fascinating History Of Condoms At The Olympics


Later that year, at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, the Olympic organizers placed condom vending machines at the athlete disco, but this had to stop. Athletes never had the right change. So, organizers just gave them out for free. The number of condoms distributed at these Games tripled the number that was provided at the Winter Olympics earlier that year, for a total of 90.000 condoms, according to Slate. Maybe Summer Olympians just find more opportunities to get cozy with one another?
