My nana was my connection to the royal family. Oh no, no, no…I don’t mean that she was RELATED to them. But she WAS the person in my life who was the biggest fan. And for those who follow the royal family, it TRULY can be a lifelong commitment of collecting magazines, reading tabloids, and having parasocial relationships where you talk about them as if you had coffee with them last week. (Well, tea, innit?)
