Adding to all the symbolism, the instrumental of his 2011 hit “Over My Dead Body” played in the background, and when he was on stage, he took a moment to pointedly remind fans that “Drizzy Drake is very much still alive.”

“My name is Drake. I started in 2008. I came all the way from Toronto, Canada. The year is now 2025, and Drizzy Drake is very much still alive,” he can be heard telling the crowd.
