It seems like Trump might owe Kid Rock an apology…
Recent footage from Trump’s Super Bowl watch party seems to reveal that even the president didn’t tune in to TPUSA’s “All-American Halftime Show,” the MAGA-friendly alternative to Bad Bunny’s historic performance.
Trump posted a scathing review of Bad Bunny’s halftime show on Truth Social, implying that he watched enough of it to conclude that it was “one of the worst, EVER!” But surely, one would assume the MAGA-fest was playing on another screen nearby, right?
Not according to this footage, which shows Trump and his guests watching Bad Bunny on the big screen at his Mar-a-Lago viewing party.
The same wall paneling and chairs appear in both the wide shot of Trump and the close-up of Bad Bunny on the TV, suggesting the footage was filmed in the same room.
So, yeah. No Kid Rock or MAGA-fest in sight! As you’d expect, people have a lot to say about this.
One person said this was yet another example of the MAGA base being lied to by conservative politicians who don’t want them to “see reality.”
“This proves it’s all performative. They stoke the outrage but couldn’t care less as long as the peasants are fighting.”
“The Orange One has some splaining to do.”
“To be fair, none of these people know how to change the channel,” one person said, which is a pretty compelling explanation IMO.
