Although authorities said they believe Guthrie was taken against her will, Nanos declined to provide specifics about the crime scene. However, on Thursday, he noted that a doorbell camera at Guthrie’s home had been removed and said blood that was found on the porch was determined to be Guthrie’s based on DNA testing.
The doorbell camera was disconnected at 1:47 a.m. on Sunday, Nanos said. Software then detected a person or an animal at Guthrie’s home around 2:12 a.m. At the time of this writing, authorities do not have access to the video footage. Guthrie’s pacemaker app was disconnected from her phone around 2:28 a.m.
On Thursday, Nanos said authorities would not be discussing whether there was forced entry to the home.
“I have no clue where that comes from. … That is just something we’re not discussing,” he said.
