Gavin Newsom has singled out Kid Rock as his fav Trumpy celebrity to torment.
Gov. Newsom started this whole thing by posting this (obviously fake) picture of Kid Rock:
Kid Rock took the bait, responding, “The only support Gavin Newscum will ever get out of me is from DEEZ NUTZ.”
Gov. Newsom followed up with the very Trumpian: “I HATE KID ROCK !!!”
Since then, Gov. Newsom has opened a store selling a “chosen one” t-shirt with Kid Rock on it:
And now, Newsom is threatening to take away his California residency.
He posted this message: “BECAUSE OF THE FACT THAT KID ROCK IS NOT IN THE BEST INTERESTS OF OUR GREAT STATE, I AM GIVING SERIOUS CONSIDERATION TO TAKING AWAY HIS RESIDENCY. HE IS A THREAT TO CALIFORNIA’S EARDRUMS, AND SHOULD REMAIN IN THE WONDERFUL STATE OF MICHIGAN, IF THEY WANT HIM. GOD BLESS AMERICA! — GCN.”
Well, it’s very similar to earlier this summer when Trump threatened to revoke Rosie O’Donnell’s citizenship.
Anyway, it looks like people from Michigan are agreement with the Governor, tweeting, “WE DON’T WANT HIM! THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER! -MICHIGANDERS.”
