Professors and TAs are literally there because they WANT to be teaching you, and they WANT you to succeed in the class, but they aren’t going to know you need help unless you ask. Go to office hours – a professor who knows you and knows you’re interested is also a professor who is more likely to grade kindly and give you an extension if you need it. And if you’re in the US especially, you’re paying A LOT of money for this, take advantage of every opportunity.”
