Forever is the new Netflix teen romance that has taken over my heart and my mind, and by that I mean I honestly can’t stop thinking about it.
Forever follows the lives of Keisha Clark and Justin Edwards as they navigate high school, and the highs and lows of experiencing true love for the very first time.
Famed producer and screenwriter, Mara Brock Akil, reimagined Judy Blume’s popular yet controversial novel of the same name, and turned it into a teen drama that sits with you long after you finish it. The layered characters and authentic storytelling really sets this show apart from others, and brings you into a world you’ll never want to leave.
The connection between Justin and Keisha is undeniable, which is why their energy and chemistry felt so transferrable on-screen.
So, to feed my obsession, we had the stars of the romance drama — Lovie Simone (Keisha) and Michael Cooper Jr. (Justin) — sit down for our Co-star Test to see how well they got to know each other on set, and it was cuter than I could’ve ever imagined.
Some questions they were able to answer with ease…
…while a couple of them left the co-stars-turned-friends stumped.
