“I wish the Republicans in my life knew what a slap in the face it is that they voted for someone who is working to ban a surgery that saved my life. Someone who plans to eliminate the federal department that allows my children to eat breakfast and lunch for free at school; someone who has promised to put forth tariffs on our imports, which will undoubtedly cause the price of nearly everything to increase. I hope those Republicans someday realize how difficult they’ve made things for the younger generations. But when they do, it’ll be too late.”
