“The Republicans control the White House, Congress, and Supreme Court, and instead of helping people, they’ve shut down the government to enact a partisan agenda. If they actually cared about helping everyday Americans, they would make rent cheaper and bring down food prices, but they’re only interested in further consolidating power and enacting an authoritarian regime.”

“I’m glad to see that Democrats have found a spine, and I hope they continue to hold the line and don’t cave to a fascist, but we’ve been let down by the Democratic party time and time again. So I guess I’m not hopeful, but I do hope that maybe the Democrats have found strength in the face of his takeover of DC and Chicago, and will continue to stand up for what people actually want, which is a country that works for the many and not the few.”
