A rep for the talent manager’s family shared the news of his death in a statement to People. “It is with great sadness that we share the news that Brandon Blackstock has passed away,” the rep said. “Brandon bravely battled cancer for more than three years. He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family. We thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to respect the family’s privacy during this very difficult time.”
The news of Brandon’s death came just after a day after his ex-wife, Kelly Clarkson, revealed that he was “ill” and that she was postponing her Las Vegas residency to be “present” for their children. She and Brandon were married from 2013 to 2020 and share two children: River Rose, 11, and Remington Alexander, 9. Brandon also has two kids from a previous relationship, per People.
