Will Friedle has revealed that he is going to be a grandfather, and I am officially feeling old.
For reference, Will was just 17 years old when he shot to global fame as Eric Matthews in the ‘90s sitcom Boy Meets World, which ran until 2000.
And it was on Monday’s episode of the pod that Will, now 48, shared his exciting personal news, where he admitted that he can’t wait to be a “poppy.”
If you have ever listened to the podcast, then you might be a little confused, as Will has always been very vocal about his decision to remain child-free, and often comments on how glad he is to not have kids when Rider and Danielle talk about their parenting experiences.
“Will’s about to be a grandfather,” Danielle then revealed, with Lynn unable to hide her shock as she repeatedly exclaimed: “What?!”
“I’m about to be a grandfather, actually,” Will confirmed. “Yeah, my stepdaughter’s about to have my first grandchild, so I’m very happy. I’m ‘bout to be a poppy!”
Will’s news comes shortly after he left Danielle and Rider speechless when he admitted that he doesn’t mark Mother’s Day with Susan in any capacity, despite her being a mom.
