Teyana Taylor is having one of those weeks one can only dream of. And lucky for her, it’s only getting better.
And the blessings continue to rain down. The freshly crowned Golden Globe winner shared with Extra on the red carpet for the upcoming Netflix film The Rip that she received flowers from Beyoncé, who’s been a long time encourager.
“It was just so sweet. Oh, my God. I just love her, you know?” Teyana told the outlet. “She’s been supporting me since I was 16 years old… It’s always been very, very consistent.” She posted the gorgeous Bey-gifted arrangement on Instagram Stories.
It may seem at first glance that Teyana Taylor is experiencing an overnight rise to fame. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. At 15 years old, Teyana choreographed Beyoncé’s “Ring The Alarm” video. Yup, that’s just one year older than Blue Ivy Carter is today.
And Teyana’s schedule is in no way slowing down. She’s currently gracing the latest cover of Vanity Fair, and The Rip, also starring Matt Damon and Ben Affleck (you know, casual), hits Netflix on Friday, January 16.
