Now here’s an instance where the rumors ended up being true.
Over the last month or so, rumors have swirled around the state of Amy Schumer’s marriage to Chris Fischer. At one point, she shared a cryptic update on their relationship via Instagram, asking for “Fingers crossed we make it through.”
Well, they didn’t — because after 7 years of marriage and sharing one child together, Amy and Chris’ relationship has seemingly gone the way of the dodo, as the couple is officially getting a divorce.
“Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years,” Amy shared in a very Amy Schumer-esque post on Instagram. “We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son.”
“We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time,” she also wrote. “blah blah blah not because I dropped some lbs and thought I could bag s basket and not because he’s a hot Janlmes beard award winning chef who can still pull some hot tail.”
“Amicable and all love and respect! Family forever,” she concluded the statement.
