On Sept. 11, People published reports that Nina Dobrev and Shaun White, who started dating back in 2019, had broken up after five years together.
Shaun and Nina got engaged less than a year ago in 2024, and it’s fair to say that the news of their breakup shocked fans, particularly given that they’d been seen together holding hands just a few weeks prior.
As it stands, neither party has directly commented on the breakup. However, amid reports that Nina is “devastated” by the end of her engagement, it looks like the Vampire Diaries star has a strong support system.
Notably, Zac is also believed to be single right now. So, after photos surfaced of him and Nina hanging out together, it didn’t take long for fans to speculate that there could be a potential romance blossoming.
But, before you get too excited, it sounds like things between Zac and Nina are strictly platonic for now. A source told Entertainment Tonight this week that they’re “just friends and have been for years.”
On top of that, the insider also said that Zac is friendly with Shaun, too.
