If you can’t read the comments here, they say (with typos corrected):
Right here is the display of the lack of intelligence in the liberal community. What I read here is a man that completely understands the complexities of sending people to Mars.
Sending people to Mars is a complicated and very long journey. Through establishing a jump point on the moon, you can more efficiently send people and equipment to the Red Planet. It’s logistics: less money and fuel required to send larger craft from the moon than Earth, so yes, sending and building an outpost on Mars has to include the moon.
Thank you once again for reminding us how dumb you all are.
The reply reads (with typos corrected):
Thanks for sharing your expertise! Where did you get your degree?
I earned my Bachelor’s in Aerospace Engineering and my Master’s in Space Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan, after which I was recruited and hired by NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab to design and develop Earth-observing satellite missions.
I also served as Science Investigator for a team-developed 500-page Mars Sample Return mission design (with lots of detailed calculations for EXACTLY how to get to Mars, using real math and science) in conjunction with JPL while still in college.
Which Mars mission designs did you work on?
You’ve written of being called to be a spiritual teacher, [name redacted]. It’s disappointing to see someone who speaks so much of Christ’s love writing with such unfounded vitriol and bitterness. Especially when you really don’t know anything about the woman you’re writing to. I may be a lot of things, but, being a calculus genius with some of the best education in the world, I know that unintelligent (or, as you call it, “dumb”) is not one of them. Wishing you the best despite this very unfortunate comment.
P.S. Sending a mission to Mars absolutely does NOT require developing an outpost on the moon. A mission to Mars and one to the moon require vastly different trajectories. I could show you if you’d like, but it would mean you’d have to brush up on your calculus. We have completed several robotic missions to Mars already, which were developed by JPL, where I was employed. If Trump is referring to manned missions including moon outposts as part of their design, as you imply (I think you are correct that that must be what he was TRYING to say), he MAY need to brush up on his communication and logic skills.
The Trump administration’s response doesn't exactly make them look competent, either.View Entire Post ›
