“She was supposed to house sit and look after my cat for me while I was out of town. I got some food for her, her boyfriend, and her baby, and let them order movies if they wanted, and left notes so they’d know how to work everything, what the cat’s feeding schedule is, and basically everything they’d need to know while I was gone. I got home, and the litter box hadn’t been touched; nobody was here. The cat had lost weight, his dishes were empty, and he wouldn’t stop crying and whining for attention, like he had been alone and scared for days. I could tell nobody had been taking care of him at all, and there was a lot of stuff missing from my place.”
“She used my keys to enter my place, stole from me, left a dirty diaper on my table, left, didn’t return, and then got mad at me for not being okay with that and accused me of being mean even though I was calmly and maturely trying to talk to her about it. I stopped being her friend, blocked her on social media, and every now and then she still shows up at my door crying and trying to beg her way back into my life, and that’s never going to happen.”
