“This recipe is inspired by Okonomiyaki, which are Japanese-style cabbage pancakes!”
“Mix 1/2 cup of flour and one teaspoon of baking powder with salt or soy sauce and garlic powder to taste. Add enough liquid (water or broth) to make a pancake batter, then whisk in two eggs. Add two to three cups of shredded vegetables (green cabbage, carrot, onion, etc.) to this batter. Then add 1/4-cup scoops of batter to an oiled medium-hot frying pan and cook until golden brown. I top mine with green onions, barbecue sauce, and Kewpie mayo. Cheap, filling, great as leftovers, and super tasty!”
