“This is a fact, but it’s less intense than it sounds. We just don’t enjoy wars as a country and generally stay out of it, and when we do get involved, usually it involves multiple other countries. Sometimes we just get lucky and can secure a win from an enemy’s misstep.
This fact is more representative of our ability to maintain our country’s peace than it is of our war prowess. Although I would rather be famously peaceful then violent (but we have definitely been both).”
