I’d say this takes the cake for the most awkward celeb red carpet moment on this list. Basically, Jerry Seinfeld and Kesha were both on the red carpet for a charity event in 2017. Jerry was in an interview when Kesha came up to him and said, “I’m Kesha, I love you so much!” He responded with, “Oh, thanks!” Then she reached her arm out and said, “Can I give you a hug?” to which he said, “No, thanks.”

But it doesn’t just stop there. “Please?” she continued. “No thanks,” he said again. “A little one,” Kesha said. “Yeah, no thanks,” he replied a third time. They both laughed, and Kesha walked away. She has since said that it was the “saddest moment of [her] life.”
